Multiple records were broken tonight during the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match.
The women’s Royal Rumble match kicked off the show tonight, with Iyo Sky and Liv Morgan starting off the match. They were soon followed by several other competitors in the match including, Roxanne Perez, Chelsea Green, Zoey Stark, Nia Jax, and many more.
However, while Sky and Morgan broke Bayley’s last year’s record of the longest time spent in the match, it was soon again broken up by a former NXT Women’s Champion. Entering third in the match, Perez stood strong to become the final two in the match with Charlotte Flair.
Despite both Jax and Perez not winning the Rumble tonight, the duo each set a new record. Perez set a record for the longest time spent in the match, entering at number three and lasting over 1 hour and 6 minutes. The previous record was held by Bayley, who lasted around 1 hour, 3 minutes, and 3 seconds.
The Queen of the Ring, Nia Jax also became the woman with the highest number of eliminations in a single match. She broke her previous tied record with Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair with 8 eliminations. During tonight’s 2025 edition, Jax eliminated nine women to set a record. Jax eliminated eight superstars in 2024 while Belair and Baszler each eliminated eight superstars in 2020.
Charlotte Flair Creates History At WWE Royal Rumble 2025
Entering as the number 27th participant in the match, Charlotte Flair made her in-ring in over a year. She last eliminated Jax and Perez to win her second Royal Rumble match. With her win tonight, Charlotte Flair cemented her name as the only woman to win two Rumble matches.
