Three more Superstars have qualified for their respective Money In The Bank Ladder Matches on July 2nd.
With WWE Money In The Bank just two weeks away, the card for the fan favourite event is beginning to take shape.
Two of the most anticipated matches on the night will be the Ladder Matches that gave the Premium Live Event it’s name. Ahead of SmackDown, only Seth Rollins had qualified in the men’s match, while Lacey Evans, Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan had won their way into the women’s bout.
On the June 10th episode of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus met in a brutally hard-hitting affair. During the bout the two stars performed each other’s moves, with McIntyre barely kicking out of a Future Shock DDT before delivering White Noise from the second rope. However, the match came to a bizarre end as both men got disqualified for trying to hit each other with chairs.
Later in the show, both stars staked their claim to be added into the match, but nothing was resolved.
The following week on June 17th, WWE Official Adam Pearce came to the ring with the former World Champions to announce his decision. Pearce initially confirmed that Sheamus would be added into the match, which sparked a brawl between the Irishman and McIntyre. But the official quickly added that McIntyre was also part of the match.

Also on the show, Raquel Rodriguez took on Shayna Baszler in a women’s qualifying match. Rodriguez has been in impressive form since moving to SmackDown and that fine run continued against Baszler. With Lacey Evans watching on from the commentary booth, Rodriguez notched up another impressive win.
