Multiple Stars Send Support To Naomi After Twitter Account Deactivation

WWE Superstar Naomi has deactivated her Twitter account following incessant online abuse around her husband Jimmy Uso’s recent DUI.

Uso was arrested earlier this week but later appeared on Smackdown, despite reports of upper management having been ‘pissed off’ over his latest misdemeanor.

In the days following Uso’s arrest, however, trolls had taken to the social media platform to inexplicably attribute blame towards Naomi.

Racial abuse was also levied at the two-time former Smackdown Women’s Champion, who ultimately, and quite understandably, decided to step away from the platform.

Several of Naomi’s colleagues have since come out in support of her, including Mia Yim, Cedric Alexander and the recently returned Zelina Vega, among others.

Yim also highlighted some of the racial abuse that her friend was receiving, quote tweeting one particularly repugnant troll with the line “Yea, you’re getting reported by all of us”.

Naomi is scheduled to appear at WWE’s next pay per view event, Money In The Bank, where she’ll be vying for the Women’s Championship briefcase alongside the likes of Alexa Bliss and Asuka.

Everyone here at Inside the Ropes would like to send our best to Naomi at this difficult time.
