Change is coming to NXT.
Ahead of the WWE Draft, there had been a huge number of rumours about NXT stars that might be moving to the main roster. Among the names linked with call-ups were Ilja Dragunov, Pretty Deadly, Tyler Bate, Cora Jade, and more.
Interestingly, with night one done and dusted none of those names were drafted. Although it should be noted that there is still plenty of time for them to get the call.
However, there will certainly be changes coming to WWE’s third brand with Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell and Women’s Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre moving to the main roster.
On SmackDown, NXT boss Shawn Michaels announced that Dawn and Fyre would be moving to the blue brand while Road Dogg confirmed that Hartwell is heading to Raw. It has also been confirmed that Dawn and Fyre will put their titles on the line against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter on May 2nd.
The new rosters will come into effect from the May 8th episode of Monday Night Raw.
