Multiple NXT And NXT UK Superstars Reportedly Heading To Main Roster

Rick Boogs & Shinsuke Nakamura

According to a new report “multiple” NXT and NXT UK Superstars could be heading to RAW and Smackdown in the coming weeks.

Fightful Select notes that Rick Boogs will not be the last new face fans get to see on the main roster. The report also highlights that NXT Superstars have been speculating over anticipated call-ups between themselves in recent weeks.

“Fightful has been told “multiple” have been planned or at least in the works for a while, spanning across both Raw and Smackdown.”

The news is especially newsworthy as it would mark the first time that an NXT UK Superstar was called directly up to the main roster.

Superstar moves from the black and gold brand can sometimes be long and drawn out process. Following her move to RAW and subsequent Women’s Championship win, Rhea Ripley revealed that she expected to be called up a full year before she actually was.

It is worth noting that three out of WWE’s four world champions spent at least some time in NXT during their careers. Bianca Belair started her WWE career in the black and gold brand, while Ripley spent time on both developmental brands. The Tribal Chief spent his early career Florida Championship Wrestling before it was rebranded as NXT. Although Reigns also briefly appeared for the brand under its new guise.

One wrestler who may be heading into NXT is IMPACT Wrestling star Moose. The man who is set to face Kenny Omega at Against All Odds, recently rebuffed reports suggesting he had re-signed with IMPACT. Writing on social media, Moose also teased the possibility of a move to WWE’s third brand.
