The stacked card for AEW Dynamite Blood and Guts has now really begun to take shape. It has been confirmed that the likes of Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and Britt Baker will all be in action.
The Dynamite special will be headlined by The Inner Circle taking on The Pinnacle in the first ever Blood and Guts match.
Ahead of the highly anticipated meeting between the two factions, the men involved faced off on the latest episode of Dynamite. The tension between the two warring groups reached an all time high, with men on both sides trading insults.
The two teams nearly came to blows on multiple occasions, but somehow the only jabs landed were verbal ones. MJF continued to ratchet up the pressure on Chris Jericho, saying he puts the company at risk every time he steps in the ring. A fired up Jericho shot back, calling MJF an “arrogant prick.”
After Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley threatened to break Kenny Omega’s ankle, Don Callis agreed to a match between Kingston and Moxley and Omega and Nakazawa.
Cody Rhodes also returned on April 28th, setting up a match between himself and QT Marshall.
