WWE Crown Jewel 2022 is scheduled to take place on November 5th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event is set to be headlined by the huge Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and YouTube star Logan Paul.

As the show moves ever closer, more matches have now been added to the card. On the the October 21st edition of Friday Night SmackDown two more matches were made official.

On the show there was a confrontation between Braun Strowman and Omos after the latter stared down the Monster Among Men the previous week. Strowman was originally met by MVP who talked up his current client, before Omos made his way to the ring. After another stare down Omos launched his rival out of the ring.

The second match to be confirmed was a huge Cage Match between Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross. One week earlier Kross and Scarlett were involved in a car accident in the parking lot outside SmackDown, and while vulnerable, the former NXT Champion was attacked by McIntyre. The assault continued under the Scot was pulled off his rival and dragged away.

Speaking on SmackDown McIntyre said that he had been spoken to by upper management about his conduct. However, he still had his sights set on Kross, before announcing a Cage Match for Crown Jewel. Kross and McIntyre met at Extreme Rules in a Strap Match but the bout ended in controversial circumstances as Scarlett sprayed mace into McIntyre’s face.
