Multiple Former WWE Champions Sidelined With Injuries

Why WWE Championship Match Has Been Delayed

Multiple WWE stars are out with injuries.

As Randy Orton nurses his cervical injury, and Charlotte Flair trains for her return (as of this writing), three other stars have been sidelined with injuries. Recently, multiple stars had to be benched after suffering injuries. While Jimmy Uso recovered from his broken toe, Bronson Reed is still nursing his ankle injury.

Just minutes before the 3rd January episode of SmackDown, general manager Nick Aldis announced that Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of The Street Profits have suffered injuries at recent live events and would be out “for the foreseeable future.”

Aldis emphasized that the duo suffered a re-aggravation of their previous injuries. Ford and Dawkins were set to face DIY for their tag-titles on the first three-hour episode of SmackDown, but will now be replaced by the Motor City Machine Guns.

Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Also Out With Injury

A few weeks after being ruled out of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament, Kairi Sane has now publicly revealed her injury status. Sharing an image on her social media, Sane was spotted in an arm sling and a medical bracelet. The photo also appears to have been taken at a hospital.

The three stars are now out for an indefinite period, and there are no confirmed updates on their return.

We at Inside The Ropes wish both The Street Profits and Kairi Sane a safe and steady recovery.
