MSK Win NXT Tag Team Titles At NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver

MSK have defeated the Grizzled Young Veterans and Legado Del Fantasma in a Triple Threat Match to win the vacant NXT Tag Team Titles.

The Grizzled Young Veterans gained the upper hand in the match early on, grounding their high-flying adversaries. However, as soon as the pace kicked up a gear, the mind-blowingly quick MSK and Legado Del Fantasma took over.

Legado Del Fantasma hit hugely impressive duel dives to the outside, before a fired up Wes Lee ran wild through the middle portion of the match taking down everything that moved. MSK got a near-fall hitting their signature assisted Moonsault on Drake, before Grizzled Young Veterans gained control once more. The pair attacked the hand of Wes Lee, hitting him with a vicious looking dropkick in the corner.

As a result, Lee found himself locked in the Shangley Gates, biting his own to prevent himself from tapping out.

Legado Del Fantasma flew back into action to break up the submission before being laid out once again themselves.

This left the Dusty Classic finalists to battle it out for the gold. Nash Carter hit an incredible Double Cutter on both member of the Grizzled Young Veterans to swing the momentum back towards the high flyers.

A Float over Neckbreaker Fireman’s Carry combo from MSK then allowed them to pick up the victory over GYV to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships.

MSK have enjoyed a remarkable rise since debuting in NXT on January 13th. The duo made an instant impact on the black and gold brand, winning the Men’s 2021 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic just a month after their introduction.
