According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW Superstar, Mr. Brodie Lee, is currently out of action after sustaining an injury.
Answering questions on the Wrestling Observer Forum, Meltzer was quizzed where Lee had disappeared to in recent weeks. The response was a simple one. Brodie Lee had suffered a suspected ankle injury and was off of AEW television until further notice.
The last time we saw Lee in an AEW ring was the October 7 AEW Dynamite when ‘The Exalted One’ defended the AEW TNT Championship against Cody Rhodes in a brutal Dog Collar Match.
During that match, Lee lost the strap to Cody who then in turn dropped it to Darby Allin at AEW Full Gear on November 7.
Currently, it is unknown whether Lee suffered the injury during the Dog Collar Match or whether it was an existing grievance that he took in to the war with Cody.
There is no word as of yet when Brodie Lee is expected to return to All Elite Wrestling.
The leader of the Dark Order first captured the AEW TNT Championship from the head of The Nightmare Family on August 22 at AEW Saturday Night Dynamite, in short and shocking order. Following that bout, the man once known as Luke Harper demolished his foe and entire stable in front of the world.
