More Surprise WWE Returns In The Works

Braun Strowman WWE

A number of WWE Superstars have returned to the company since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took over creative – and they’re not stopping any time soon!

Johnny Gargano, Braun Strowman, and Karrion Kross have all returned to WWE programming over the past two months, being brought back into the fold under the regime of Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. By the looks of it, ‘The Game’ won’t be slowing this process down any time soon.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, further surprises are being planned with people who’re currently not being discussed as possible returnees. No exact names were provided.

With regards to people not in the conversation, this presumably rules out the likes of Bray Wyatt and Candice LeRae. ‘The Eater of Worlds’ has been rumoured for a comeback since the day of his release, while LeRae is expected back any moment now that Johnny Gargano has resurfaced.

Returns to WWE under the Paul Levesque era began at SummerSlam, when Dakota Kai, who had been cut from NXT 2.0 on 29 April made her official main roster debut. She joined Bayley and IYO SKY, both making their returns from lengthy, non-release-related absences, in the Damage CTRL faction.

Since then, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Dexter Lumis, Hit Row, Johnny Gargano, and Braun Strowman have followed suit.
