Money In The Bank is one of WWE’s most exciting events. Not only does it feature two highly-competitive ladder matches, but it also provides the winner of the coveted MITB briefcase with the chance to cash it in on the championship of their choosing whenever they want to seize the opportunity.
This year the event travels to London for the first time in company history, which adds further anticipation and intrigue surrounding the show. The UK crowd will get to witness the action in the 02 Arena on July 1st.
Over the last several weeks the company’s weekly shows have hosted qualifying matches for both the men’s and women’s MITB ladder matches and the June 5th episode of Monday Night Raw saw two more WWE Superstars qualify for the upcoming PLE.
Two More WWE Superstars Qualified For Money In The Bank
In the first qualifying match of the night, Becky Lynch faced Sonya Deville who was accompanied by Chelsea Green. Deville’s partner ran constant interference throughout the bout, but the Man was able to overcome the distractions and defeat the Jersey Devil.
In the second women’s MITB qualifier, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark made quick work of Natalya with a helping hand from her mentor Trish Stratus.
At the time of writing Richochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, and LA Knight have qualified for the Men’s MITB Ladder Match. They will be joined by the winner of Mustafa Ali vs. Santos Escobar, the winner of Butch vs. Baron Corbin and a to-be-determined performer.
For the Women’s MITB Ladder Match Becky Lynch, Zelina Vega, and Zoey Stark are confirmed and will be joined by the winner of Bayley vs. Michin Mia Yim, the winner of Iyo Sky vs. Shotzi and another performer yet to be revealed.
Despite Roman Reigns being confirmed for the London show, there hasn’t been any further information released or matches announced.
