Further editions of WWE Raw and SmackDown will be taped ahead of time next month.
On November 11th, fans in attendance at the Raw taping in Grand Rapids, Michigan also saw the next episode of the Monday night show take place that will air on November 18th. Additionally, fans who will be attending the November 22nd SmackDown taping in Salt Lake City, Utah will also get to see the next episode of the blue brand taped ahead of time, which is set to air on November 29th and will be the go-home episode for Survivor Series.
The reason for the taped episodes is so that the performers and employees are able to spend Thanksgiving with their families and have an extended break from travelling. According to the events schedule, this will also take place in December so that the staff can also have time off for Christmas.
The December 13th SmackDown taping in Hartford, Connecticut will also tape the December 20th episode on the same night and the December 16th Raw in Boston, Massachusetts will also tape the December 23rd episode on the same evening.
As seen on the WWE events page, the double tapings mean that the roster will be off from the December 16th double taping to the December 26th house shows in Madison Square Garden, New York and VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
