The June 21st edition of AEW Dynamite saw multiple matches added to the upcoming inter-promotional pay-per-view Forbidden Door.
The first new match came about when Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevera and Minoru Suzuki challenged Sting, Darby Allin and a partner of their choosing for a six-man tag team match at the PPV. The painted duo gladly accepted the challenge and will be revealing their partner on Collision.
A second outing was added to the duel-brand event when the Blackpool Combat Club along with Konosuke Takeshita and Shota Umino challenged the Elite to a five-on-five fight. The Elite readily agreed to the match, however, as Kenny Omega is already in action on the card, they added someone who hates the BCC just as much as they do, Eddie Kingston. The Mad King then went on to reveal that Tomohiro Ishii will be on their side.
Following the announcement, Kingston and Ishii were attacked by the BCC and Bryan Danielson was just about to kick the Stone Pitbull’s head in when Kazuchika Okada confronted the American Dragon before the dream match at the PPV.
The coin drop can only mean one thing: Kazuchika Okada is here to confront the #AmericanDragon Bryan Danielson!

The Women’s World Championship will be defended on the show as it was also announced that Willow Nightengale will challenge Toni Storm.
Orange Cassidy will certainly have his hands full at the event as he defends the International Championship in a Four-Way match against Daniel Garcia, Zack Sabre Jr. and Katsuyori Shibata.
CM Punk Added To AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
Another huge match added to the show will see CM Punk go head to head in yet another first-time-ever meeting with the former two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Satoshi Kojima. They clash in the first round of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Cup.
