More CM Punk Drama Expected To Come To Light

CM Punk holding his ears

With CM Punk just days away from returning to an AEW ring the controversy surrounding him must be over right?

According to Wade Keller on his latest PWTorchVIP.com audio show, the answer is no. The veteran journalist stated that while he can’t reveal details, there’s something on the way that “won’t help matters,” adding that AEW is bracing itself for “one of those weeks.”

“I am under the impression between now and Saturday, there’s going to be something that comes out that media wise that is not gonna help matters, probably. I don’t mean to be cryptic but I haven’t heard the details or seen enough to say much but yea, I just don’t know. I just think it’s gonna be one of those weeks, I’ll put it that way…From what I’m hearing behind the scenes in AEW, it’s just gonna be one of those weeks.”

CM Punk Hype Package Drops On Dynamite

The report comes less than 24 hours after a CM Punk promotional video aired on Dynamite. In the clip, Punk expressed his desire to reach the top of AEW, commenting that regardless of what’s happened his goals remain the same.

Punk added that he has a “lot to get off his chest” but won’t know what he’s going to say until he has a mic in his hands, hinting that he’ll be addressing his absence to some degree on Collision.

CM Punk is set to team with FTR to take on Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Samoa Joe live from the United Center in Chicago.
