The Street Profits’ Montez Ford has seemingly suffered an injury during a recent WWE live event.
During the October 3rd edition of Monday Night Raw, The Street Profits had a backstage confrontation with The Bloodline. Jey Usos warned Montez Ford not to disrespect The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns before pointing out Ford’s walking boot on his right foot.
The confrontation led to a singles match between Solo Sikoa and Angelo Dawkins. During the match, the announcers confirmed Ford is dealing with an injury, though they did not specify the severity of the injury nor when he’ll be back to 100%.
The Profits last competed in tag action during a WWE live event on September 24th. Although nothing is confirmed, Ford likely suffered an ankle injury at the event. It remains to be seen whether the injury will keep Ford out of action on Monday Night Raw for several weeks or more.
At SummerSlam, The Profits challenged The Usos for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships. Despite Ford and Dawkins pulling out all the stops, The Profits failed to dethrone The Bloodline. Before the match, there were reports of The Profits possibly breaking into single competitors.
Things aren’t faring better for the team outside of the ring. Dawkins recently shared a photo of his flooded Ohio home following the disastrous Hurricane Ian.
