The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Monday Night Raw have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the May 2nd episode of Monday Night Raw drew an average viewership of 1,581,000 with 0.38 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic. That works out at 491,000 viewers.
Both figures are the lowest on the for the show on the USA Network since December. The show was again up against the NBA playoffs, with the two games and Inside The NBA securing the top three spots on the cable originals rankings for the 18-49-year-old demographic.
By contrast, last week on April 25th, the show pulled in 1,613,000 viewers, with a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 year-old demographic.
The May 2nd edition of Monday Night Raw opened with The Bloodline taking centre stage, after their chaotic exchange with RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre on SmackDown. As Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns addressed the crowd, Randy Orton and Riddle ran into the ring hit the Usos with surprise RKO’s. This left the way clear for Drew McIntyre to come face to face with Reigns. As the two brawled, RK-Bro and the Usos got back involved in a chaotic end to the segment.
There were also wins for Veer, Bobby Lashley and Theory and The Miz who teamed to beat Mustafa Ali in a Handicap Match. AJ Styles also overcame Damian Priest, which means Priest will be banned from ringside when Edge meets Styles at WrestleMania Backlash. After the match the pair attacked Styles, who was saved by Finn Balor. The pair throwing up “Too Sweet” as Edge and Priest escaped.
In the main event, Asuka, Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley and Sonya Deville.
