MJF To Have A Live Mic On Dynamite

Returning AEW star MJF will have a microphone in his hand again on Dynamite as he will address the crowd following his appearance at All Out.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s AEW future had been the subject of some doubt given the events in the lead-up to the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view back in May. MJF faced off with Wardlow on the show but their match was overshadowed by rumours that the Dynamite Diamond ring winner wanted out of his contract.

On the Dynamite following his loss at Double Or Nothing, MJF took to the ring with a microphone in his hand and got a lot of his chest, the show cutting to commercial after he urged Tony Khan to “fire me you f*cking mark.”

Since then, the company has gone silent on MJF – that was until All Out in Chicago. The Casino Ladder Match was the first sign that something was amiss when several masked men attacked the participants allowing Stokely Hathaway to climb the ladder and receive the chip. He then handed over the chip to another masked figure who was the Joker in the match, making them the winner.

By the end of the night, things were clear as MJF revealed himself as the man behind the mask as he confronted his old nemesis CM Punk with the two men now destined to clash again for the AEW World Championship.

Dynamite on the 7th of September will emanate from Buffalo, New York, and as well as MJF speaking, Death Triangle will face Best Friends and the ROH Pure Title will be on the line as Daniel Garcia challenges Wheeler Yuta.
