MJF To Appear On AEW Dynamite

By Lyle Kilbane. Published 1st June 2022.

The saga between MJF and AEW has taken yet another twist with the star now advertised for the company’s debut show in Los Angeles.

At Double Or Nothing in Las Vegas, MJF was finally forced to go one-on-one with his former bodyguard Wardlow. Wardlow destroyed his former boss, playing him a powerbomb symphony that saw MJF slammed to the mat ten times before Wardlow pinned him with a boot to the chest and freedom to sign with AEW.

However, the match was the last thing on people’s minds come Double Or Nothing as rumours ran rampant that MJF was no longer going to appear on the show after missing an advertised meet and greet, with a flight seemingly at one point booked home for him – although this has been disputed.

PWInsider has also reported that the Long Island native appeared in the arena at “the last minute” at Double Or Nothing with their report adding that he will not be on the road for several of the company’s upcoming TV tapings and possibly longer. This seemed to be the case when MJF was stretchered out of the T-Mobile Arena, suggesting he might be taking some time away.

Now AEW has surprised almost everyone on social media as they have now advertised that fans “will hear” from MJF when Dynamite emanates from The Kia Forum.

Also on Dynamite, Dr. Britt Baker will team with Jamie Hayter to face Toni Storm and Ruby Soho and Jon Moxley will resume hostilities with The JAS’ Daniel Garcia. FTR will team up with new AEW World Champion CM Punk to take on The Gunn Club and Max Caster and Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, Matt Hardy, and Darby Allin will face reDRagon, The Young Bucks, and Bullet Club’s Hikuleo in a ten-man tag team match.
