AEW star MJF has hit back at Kanye West after the controversial musician made anti-semitic comments on social media.
Over the past few days, Kanye West has had his Instagram account restricted and his Twitter account locked for making bizarre accusations against Jewish people.
On Instagram, West posted a screenshot of an alleged text conversation he had with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs where he accused Combs of being somehow controlled by Jewish people.
Then, on October 8th, he took to Twitter to say he would go “death con 3” – likely meaning DEFCOM 3 – on Jewish people and made baseless accusations of Jews “blackballing” people who “oppose their agenda”. The tweet has since been removed and his account locked.
There has been a huge backlash against West’s anti-semitic comments, including from AEW’s Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
In a now-deleted tweet, the star said he isn’t shocked by West’s comments, but questioned why society does little to address antisemitism.
“Kanye West calling Jewish people horrifying doesn’t shock me. What shocks me is how little was as a society talk about antisemitism.
“To put things into perspective. Slavery was very recent and the plight of POC is still rampant.
“End of slavery – 1865
“End of Holocaust – 1945”
MJF later deleted his post as he says he was bombarded with anti-semitic comments in response. He retweeted one of the comments to explain his position before announcing he was “done with” Twitter.
