As the AEW Heavyweight Champion and one of the promotion’s most popular stars, MJF often finds himself mobbed by fans looking for an autograph. After the most recent episode of Dynamite, he had one of his more interesting encounters.
On February 8th, AEW hit El Paso, Texas for the first time. The show opened with the Salt of the Earth taking on Konosuke Takeshita in a Championship Eliminator bout. Takeshita took it to the champion, utilising his striking capability to take the advantage. However, a mistimed Senton allowed MJF to lock in an Armbar, eventually forcing Takeshita to submit.
Things didn’t end there for Friedman as he appeared later in the night to cut a controversial promo about a lethal car crash he was involved in.
He also tried to prevent Bryan Danielson from making his match with Rush by locking him in the trainer’s room, but Danielson not only got to the ring in time but defeated Rush to secure his title match against MJF at Revolution.
Afterwards, Friedman attacked Danielson with his diamond ring before locking him in an Armbar until he was pulled away.
MJF has interesting fan encounter after Dynamite
Following the show, the champ took some time to sign autographs for fans outside the arena. He has since taken to social media, revealing one woman tried to get him to sign her breasts, but no video had emerged.
“Some skank in El Paso tried to get me to sign her breasts outside the arena. Multiple people recorded it. Still hasn’t made its way to twitter. Prob cuz people in El Paso don’t know how to use technology.”

However, one user did have video of the encounter and posted it for Friedman to see. In the clip, the woman did indeed expose herself, but he walked away with sharpie in hand.
In response to the video, the star joked that he did it for Triple H, who often asked women to expose themselves in arenas while part of D-Generation X.
