MJF On WWE Move – “I Don’t Want To Leave But I’m A Businessman”

MJF Chris Jericho

MJF has discussed his future in the wrestling business saying when he nears the end of his contract with All Elite Wrestling, he’s open to ‘the highest bidder.’

MJF has taken the wrestling world by storm at the tender age of 25. He recently led The Pinnacle into the brutal Blood And Guts cage match against Inner Circle on AEW Dynamite. The Pinnacle came out on top as Friedman threatened to throw Chris Jericho off the top of the cage to the stage below. That threat was enough to cause Sammy Guevara to surrender for Inner Circle, but with the victory secured, MJF followed through on his threat and launched Jericho to the stage below.

The two-time Dynamite Diamond ring winner recently discussed his future in the wrestling business with Steel Chair. Friedman’s AEW contract runs until 2024, beyond that the world is his oyster.

MJF stated:

“I’d say I’d be near the end of my contract. I would be the AEW World Champion, I would still be a part of the greatest faction in professional wrestling known as The Pinnacle, all of my brothers in arms would also have gold and then, at that point, the highest bidder, baby. Me and my boys were willing to go wherever the money’s at, it’s that simple. Don’t get me wrong, AEW runs deep in me, I don’t want to leave, but I am a businessman at the end of the day, and I can’t help myself if somebody’s got an offer for me, I’m going to listen to it.”

MJF has yet to win championship gold in All Elite Wrestling but with The Pinnacle now behind him and Tully Blanchard by his side, it might not be long until MJF’s prediction comes true.
