After the November 16, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite went off the air, “The Devil” MJF delivered an exclusive message full of passion for the fans in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
MJF will take on Jon Moxley at AEW Full Fear for the AEW World Championship. On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) held their go-home show, closing out with a promo between the two. “The Devil” stated that he needs the championship more than he needs to breathe, and he plans on taking home the belt on Saturday night.
MJF Keeps It Real With The Crowd, And Tony Khan
When AEW Dynamite went off the air, MJF cut a feisty promo, and not just that, but All Elite Wrestling owner Tony Khan was also present in the squared circle.
MJF started things off by saying that the company has dealt with a lot of stuff over the past few months. “The Salt of the Earth” then acknowledged that him and Khan haven’t necessarily gotten along since his time in AEW, but gave Khan credit for providing everybody with an alternative.
“I’d like to get real real quick with all y’all, real quick. Just give me a second. No bullshit. Everybody listen to me real quick. A lot of bullsh*t has gone on, a lot of bullsh*t. We all know it. However, let me make something crystal clear. Me and [Tony], we’ve been at odds once or twice. I’m not gonna stand here and pretend that’s not the case. But there’s something I take issue with that I’ve been seeing lately.
Everybody make some noise if you’re a fan of professional wrestling. Now, you guys think you’re wrestling fans. Imagine for one second, if you had the opportunity to bring your love of professional wrestling out to the world and create an alternative. Would you do it? This man right here busts his ass, week in, week out to give not just you, but to give all the boys in the back an opportunity to show the world how much we love professional wrestling.”
MJF then continued by saying that professional wrestlers put themselves at incredible risk every time they step foot in the squared circle, saying that he doesn’t like when somebody came into AEW and “took a dump,” but also stated that the issue is done. He then went on to give Khan credit, and also gave some love to WWE.
“This sh*t is not ballet. Every time we get in this ring, we are risking our lives. You people understand that? We don’t take that lightly. What I damn sure don’t take lightly is somebody coming in to my company, dropping trou and taking a dump. That shit ain’t happening anymore because this is the place.
The only reason why it’s here is because of Tony fucking Khan. Without AEW, professional wrestling is a monopoly. Do not get me wrong, I love WWE, trust me, I love WWE. However, hear me out, your favorite wrestlers don’t get properly and don’t eat properly unless Tony Khan makes that alternative.”

MJF closed out his promo by saying he’s carrying All Elite Wrestling on his back, and told Khan to give him his money when the time comes. Finally, MJF told everybody to purchase AEW Full Gear and watch him take the AEW World Championship away from Jon Moxley.
“Now I’m going to finish it with more honesty. Tony, I’m just gonna keep it real with you. I’m carrying this goddamn place on my back. If I were you, I would pay up in the bidding war of 2024. Connecticut, you crazy motherfuckers better buy this pay-per-view to witness history because MJF is taking home the gold.”
