MJF Blasts AEW Star – “He Should Keep His Mouth Shut”

MJF

MJF has put the locker room on notice.

The AEW World Champion retained the title at the Revolution pay-per-view in a 60 minute Iron match against Bryan Danielson, which went into overtime following the score being tied at 3-3 when the time expired.

The match would go to sudden death, with MJF winning the final fall by submitting The American Dragon following an unseen attack on Danielson with an oxygen tank.

MJF Addresses Next Potential Challengers For AEW World Championship

Following the controversial victory, the champion would appear alongside president Tony Khan to gloat about the victory and take questions from the media in the post-show media scrum.

With a towel around his neck and eating a pickle, MJF was asked about who will be next to challenge for the Triple B. The generational talent stated that Adam Page is on his radar, but the former champion is too afraid to step up to the champion:

“To be brutally honest, there are a lot of people on my radar. I am fully aware that Hangman Adam Page is a good competitor. I’m also fully aware of how I won [the Dynamite Diamond ring]. Anyone know who I beat for this originally? Hangman Adam Page. I think Hangman is scared of MJF, and I think Hangman knows better than to come anywhere near MJF for the time being.”

In the early days of All Elite Wrestling, the 4 stars that were named the pillars of the company were Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara and MJF. The World Champion stated that he is offended that he is spoken in the same breath as the young stars, and should be recognised as a level above:

“There are other people here that I genuinely, really really don’t like. I also don’t love the fact that a guy like Jungle Boy or Darby Allin or Sammy Guevara is allowed to walk around like they are homegrown superstars. Yes, they are homegrown, they’re very solid, but at this point, I think it’s very obvious that there is only one pillar that actually holds this place up. So, I would kind of like to prove a point there.”

MJF continued the verbal tirade, referencing the social media argument between himself, Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. MJF stated that Cole and Baker should watch their words, and then referenced Eddie Kingston quitting the company:

“Adam Cole was talking sh*t on Twitter. Wasn’t a fan of that. He should keep his f*cking mouth shut and maybe tell his girlfriend of his to do so as well. Are there more people? Sure. I don’t like Claudio Castagnoli’s face. I think Eddie Kingston is a crybaby bitch and he is also a little punk and I wouldn’t mind getting a chance to slap him across his blue-collared face. There are a lot of people that I would love to absolutely demolish both on the microphone and in the ring, but as I said, I don’t do dream matches. The only dream I have is to hold [the AEW World Title] and for the Reign of Terror to last an eternity,”
