On his Twitch stream Friday night, AEW star Miro suggested that Benjamin Carter had already signed with WWE.
Carter, who has become one of the hottest free agents in the world today, was the subject of a bidding war between WWE and AEW following his appearances for the Jacksonville promotion but according to Miro, his future has already been decided.
In response to a fan who praised Benjamin Carter, The Artist Formerly Known as Rusev stated in no uncertain terms:
“I know, but we lost Ben Carter. He’s gone to the dark side. I mean good luck to him. I was really impressed with his stuff.”

His words seem pretty definitive, though it is important to note that WWE have not issued an official statement confirming they have snagged the British talent.
At present, Carter is self-isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.
Benjamin Carter was trained at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy run by current WWE Superstar, Seth Rollins, and made an appearance for AEW on their Late Night Dynamite show on September 22 in an impressive loss to Scorpio Sky and defeated Lee Johnson on an edition of AEW Dark that same evening.
Inside the Ropes wishes Benjamin Carter a speedy recovery and will keep you up to date with where his future lays when more information becomes available.
