Miro Spotted With WWE Superstar Following His AEW Departure

Just days after his AEW departure was confirmed, former TNT Champion Miro has reunited with a popular WWE star, fuelling speculation about his next move.

Miro was among several wrestlers whose AEW contracts officially expired on Sunday night, alongside Malakai Black and Ricky Starks. Both Starks and the former Rusev had previously requested their releases but were initially denied. With Starks already making his surprise NXT debut, rumours continue to swirl about the future of the other two stars.

Adding to the speculation, Sheamus took to social media, sharing a photo of himself and the former TNT Champion enjoying a beer together. Captioning the post with:

“The Lads”

Sheamus’ post quickly sparked discussion among wrestling fans about a potential return for Rusev. Before his AEW run, Rusev—was a mainstay in WWE, spending six years on the main roster and winning the United States Championship three times. His 2020 release came as a shock to many, but he found success in AEW, capturing the TNT Championship.

Does Miro Have A Non-Compete Clause In His AEW Contract?

It has been reported that Miro, as well as Ricky Starks and Malakai Black, do not have non-compete clauses as part of their AEW contracts, this means that all three stars are free to sign a deal with any wrestling company they wish to work for without any legal repercussions. With Starks having seemingly joined NXT, only time will tell where the other two wrestlers will end up.
