Miro Lambasts Wrestlers Who He Says “Would Rather Do 450s And Lose”

Miro has not minced his words for those in the wrestling business who care more about how they look in the ring rather than getting the job done.

The dominant ‘Best Man’ of AEW successfully defended his TNT Title in an absolute barnstormer of a brawl against Lance Archer at Double Or Nothing. Miro even shocked everyone when he launched Jake Roberts’ sack – that purportedly had a snake in it – out of the ring and towards the entrance.

Now speaking on Busted Open Radio, the Bulgarian Brute has expressed his distaste for those who he says put appearances above everything else in the wrestling ring.

Miro explained:

“People say ‘characters and gimmicks.’ Yeah, wrestling is full of dumb characters and people that want to be something they are not. That’s not how this works, you have to be you and draw real emotion and kick ass. You have to find that within you, it’s not from some television character, you have to find it deep inside. If ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ they say, ‘You’d rather look good and lose,’ that’s what people do. They’d rather do 650s or 450s and lose instead of just punching someone in the mouth and kicking them in the face like I do. People see the aggressive side and there is no one as aggressive as I am.”

Miro has made quite the career of punching and kicking people in the face. Formerly in WWE, the former Rusev parlayed that into an impressive run as WWE United States Champion. Now All Elite, Miro is taking his frustrations out on the AEW locker room, including his own partner Kip Sabian. Miro attacked the Englishman after the pair lost the Arcade Anarchy match on AEW Dynamite.

Since then, the fun and games have ended for Miro who won the TNT Championship from Darby Allin, a week after Allin was thrown down a flight of concrete stairs by Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page.
