Miro has commented on his spectacular body transformation since leaving WWE after a before and after photo was shared on social media.
By the time that Miro arrived in AEW in September 2020 he truly was a new man. He debuted on AEW Dynamite with a new sense of purpose, with a new character and undoubtedly in the shape of his life.
During his time in WWE, the powerhouse sported a physically imposing, albeit bulkier physique, but by the time his debuted in AEW, that look was totally gone. The former United States Champion was noticeably leaner and more muscular.
The transformation was highlighted further when a post on social media shared a side by side of the Bulgarian star from his time in WWE to a recent shot posted online.
In response, Miro commented that “Body transformation is the side effect of hard work.”

The Redeemer hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Bryan Danielson in the final of the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament at Full Gear on November 13th. That match came after Miro was added to the tournament at the eleventh hour with Jon Moxley unable to compete. The former WWE star first dispatched Orange Cassidy before meeting Danielson.
It was later reported that neither of these matches were planned as the star was dealing with a hamstring injury. In fact, Miro had been out of action since losing the TNT Championship to Sammy Guevara on September 29th.
While he has been unable to compete in the ring, Miro has still appeared on AEW television in promo segments, where he continues to descend further into crisis as a result of recent defeats.
There is currently no official word on when the former TNT Champion will be back in action.
