Miro has boldly claimed that CJ Perry is a better wrestler than 95% of the AEW women’s locker room, before naming who he believes is number one.
Appearing as Lana and Rusev, CJ Perry and Miro began working together in NXT before arriving on WWE’s main roster at the 2014 Royal Rumble.
The pair remained together for much of Rusev’s time in WWE, which ended with his release in April 2020. However, as their run progressed, Lana began wrestling more often, and became a full-time wrestler by the time her real-life husband departed the company.
During this period, Lana feuded with Nia Jax, later teaming with Naomi in a bid to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships. The star was released by WWE in June 2021, and is yet to return to the ring.
With CJ Perry focusing on projects outside the ring, Miro has been competing in AEW where he became TNT champion in 2021. Throughout his time with the company speculation has persisted suggesting that Perry could be about to join her partner on-screen once more.
The topic was once again mentioned online during the most recent edition of Rampage, however, the discussion didn’t got unnoticed by The Redeemer.
One tweet referred to “Lana” as an “okish wrestler,” something which didn’t sit well with her husband. Miro quickly hit back, claiming that Perry is a better wrestler than 95% of the AEW women’s locker room.
“Lana” is a better wrestler then 95% of the entire locker room and also best manager. Your reports are “okish” at best https://t.co/aLELwz6Qr4

In a follow-up tweet Miro suggested that Serena Deeb is the best women’s wrestler that AEW has to offer.
Speaking with Inside The Ropes own Liam Alexander-Stewart CJ Perry recently revealed her plans to return to wrestling.
