WWE Hall of Famer Mike Tyson has been caught on camera repeatedly punching a fellow airplane passenger after the man had reportedly been harassing the boxing legend.
Video footage taken on a recent airplane flight shows Mike Tyson attacking a fellow passenger after the fan reportedly refused to stop provoking the star.
According to TMZ Sports, the incident took place at 10.30 PM PT on a JetBlue flight due to travel from San Francisco to Florida on April 21st.
According to witnesses, Tyson was initially “cool with” other passengers on the airplane. However, one fan repeatedly tried to talk to the legend and Tyson asked him to “chill”. When the fan refused, Tyson began punching him in the face.

Since the incident, the BBC has been issued a statement from Mike Tyson’s camp claiming that the passenger was “aggressive” and “harassing” the star. The report added that two people had been temporarily detained by police following the attack but were released pending investigation. One of those, presumably the passenger, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department said that person refused to cooperate with the investigation.
“That subject provided minimal details of the incident and refused to co-operate further with the police investigation.”
As well as being iconic in the boxing ring, Mike Tyson is well-known in wrestling circles for his numerous appearances in WWE, most famously as the “Ring Enforcer” for the WWF Championship match between Shawn Michaels and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2012.
More recently, Tyson has made appearances for AEW, and last appeared in a wrestling ring when he acted as a “Special Guest Enforcer” for a match between Chris Jericho and Dax Harwood in April 2021.
