Ahead of his singles debut against The Miz at SummerSlam, Logan Paul has declared that he “might have been born to wrestle”.
The social media influencer is scheduled to wrestle ‘The A-Lister’ at the Saturday, 30 July premium live event, a match that Logan Paul seemly, if anything, a little too confident about.
In a video of the Paul brother preparing for his match with the two-time WWE Champion, Logan, who narrated over the footage, made a bold claim when he decreed that he may have been born to be in the squared circle:
“I’m excited to get back in there, man. Feel good every time I practice. I genuinely feel like I get exponentially better. I might have been made to do this. I might have been born to wrestle. We’ll find out. Everyone hits me up and they’re like, ‘Yo, you are built for this. You’re made for this, lean into it.’ I’m starting to see what they see, and it’s always such an honour when people believe in me before I believe in myself. I think with the WWE, that’s another case of that happening.”

Logan Paul continued, explaining how the idea of performing for WWE came around:
“I have to be honest, WWE was sort of my manager’s idea. He thought I’d be good at it, and I’d never really considered it as a part of my career, but after WrestleMania, like most things that I try and end up doing, I just kind of fell in love with it. I went back to the locker room and I was like this is a fun sport, the crowd reacted amazing, and I think most important for me is I believe I’m good at it. I think it comes natural to me. I love being in the ring. I’m super comfortable, I love doing flips, I love doing slams, being physical and putting on a show.”
Logan Paul made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, teaming with The Miz as they defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio. He’d previously appeared for the McMahon-fronted sports entertainment giant at the previous year’s WrestleMania as a cornerman for Sami Zayn, being attacked by Kevin Owens.
On this week’s Raw, Logan brawled with The Miz, ultimately being laid out by him and Ciampa ahead of this weekend’s clash at SummerSlam.
Interestingly, during the footage posted of Logan Paul training for his first singles outing in WWE, he was shown training with former Cruiserweight Champion and now-WWE producer Shane ‘The Hurricane’ Helms.
