Mick Foley Tests Positive For COVID-19

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has confirmed he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Posting via his personal Twitter account, the Hardcore Legend updated fans on his current situation, confirming he has been isolating in a hotel room over the Christmas period.

“I tested positive for COVID following a December virtual signing, and have been isolating in a hotel room for the past 18 days. Please continue to take this virus seriously – mask up, social distance, look out for one another. Wishing all of you a happy, healthy new year.”

Foley elaborated that he tested positive following a virtual signing, but said there were only two people in the room wearing masks, and said he took his mask off to enhance the signing. The WWE Hall of Famer said one of the gentlemen had symptoms later that night, and he waited five days and got his test. As a result, Foley missed Christmas with his family and spent it in a hotel room. Mick Foley heartbreakingly says he could have done better, but that he did cut back dramatically.

The former WWE Champion says he’s had 12 COVID tests, before giving some advice to his fans and hoping everyone’s days will be “nice” in traditional Foley form.

Everyone at Inside The Ropes sends Mick Foley our best wishes in his recovery.
