Ever since the creation of Judgement Day, the faction has regularly expanded.
Initially created by Edge in 2022 the group consisted of The Rated R Superstar, Damian Priest and Finn Balor. The trio grew to four members soon after as Rhea Ripley was revealed as the newest addition.
Following Edge’s brutal departure, the group recruited Dominick Mysterio and has remained as a foursome ever since. However, the group’s leader Finn Balor recently appeared on The Bump. During the conversation, the inaugural Universal Champion stated that once WrestleMania 39 has concluded, more people could be joining The Judgment Day.
“We are always planning. The Judgment Day are always planning, we’re always plotting, we’re always scheming. I’m always texting with Damian. We have a group chat with me, Damian, Rhea, Dom. We’re plotting, we’re figuring things out, and trust me, once we get Mania behind us, The Judgment Day will be expanding.”
Mick Foley Wants To Join Judgement Day
Upon hearing the news the dominant faction is looking to grow, the Hardcore Legend and best-selling author put down the pen and picked up the camera to shoot his hilarious video resume. The video goes through his many achievements such as three-time WWE Champion, New York Times best seller and King of the Deathmatch.
Yet despite all these things Foley indicates that he may not possess the physical and athletic abilities of the faction’s current members, but he can bring something else entirely to the Judgement Day table – “a wholesome energy and presence.”
As WWE gears up for WrestleMania 39, Rhea Ripley prepares for the biggest match of her career. After winning the Royal Rumble in emphatic fashion, the Nightmare challenged her old foe, Charlotte Flair to a title match at the ‘Show of Shows’ in Hollywood.
Ripley and Flair have a storied history due to their rivalry heading into WrestleMania 36. The two fought over the NXT Women’s Championship, which shockingly ended up in the hands of the Queen.
Now, Ripley gets her chance for revenge and the opportunity to take the SmackDown Women’s Champion from Flair in Hollywood possibly in one of the main event matches.
