Mick Foley wants Vince McMahon to allow his family to do one thing at WrestleMania following his death.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley was one of the cornerstones of the famed Attitude Era. The Hardcore Legend will always be credited with “turning the tide” during the Monday Night Wars, thanks to him winning the WWE Championship on the January 4, 1999 edition of RAW.
Despite occasionally criticising the company following the end of his in-ring career, Foley is still respected and loved by many within and outside the industry.
Speaking on the latest Foley Is Pod, the Hardcore Legend revealed that he’s likely to be cremated after he dies. He made a special request to Vince McMahon regarding how his ashes should be spread.
“I believe I’m going to be cremated when the time comes,” Foley said. “We’ll see if Vince would let [my family] drop the ashes in the ring before the main event of WrestleMania. Wouldn’t that be great?”
Foley’s last match at WrestleMania was against Edge in 2006. His final WWE match occurred at the 2012 Royal Rumble. He entered at number seven and eliminated the likes of Primo Colon, Epico, and Justin Gabriel before being eliminated by Cody Rhodes.
The Hardcore Legend recently revealed he’d signed a new legends contract with WWE. It’s currently unknown whether his new contract means fans can expect to see him back on television.
