Mick Foley is grateful to be up and walking after getting into a car accident.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is no stranger to his body taking a beating from his years inside the squared circle, and the star has long been retired from in-ring action, last competing as a surprise participant in the 2012 Royal Rumble. Foley took to Facebook today to reveal that he was involved in a car accident. He wrote:
TOUGH DAY FOR MICK!
I have no idea how I am still walking around after this accident. I’m in the hospital now, and I’m sore from my knees to my neck, including a minor concussion.
Foley also shared the following photo in his post showing the aftermath of the accident.

Mick Foley Shared Long Term Consequences Of His WWE Career
During a February interview with Jamal Niaz at For The Love Of Wrestling, Foley was asked about his infamous 1999 match with The Rock that saw him receive multiple brutal chair shots to the head. Foley admitted that night was a bad one and that wrestlers shouldn’t follow in his footsteps.
“That was a bad night and I could have been seriously hurt, so I certainly hope no one tries anything remotely like that. I was hurting. I mean, cumulatively you just can’t take a lot of shots like that. So I have to be really careful in my everyday life. I don’t get jolted, I can’t ride rollercoasters anymore, I have an aversion to bright lights. But all things considered, I think I’m doing pretty well.” (h/t
ITR Wrestling wishes Mick Foley the best as he recovers from this scary ordeal.
