Depending on who you are and who you talk to, there are several glaring omissions from the WWE Hall of Fame and some of these are for specific reasons.
Whether it’s Owen Hart, The Steiner Brothers, or Davey Boy Smith before WWE announced his induction into the Class of 2020, everyone could name at least one person that is not yet in those hallowed halls that should be.
Mick Foley has taken to Twitter to have his say on the subject and believes that Vader is the most glaring omission from WWE’s hall of immortals.
The sudden statement came in response to a tweet from Vader’s son who took to social media to state that ‘The Hardcore Legend’ was his father’s favourite opponent. The offspring fondly remembered their classic Texas Deathmatch at WCW Halloween Havoc 1993.
Pops absolutely loved working with @RealMickFoley and their Halloween Havoc match was easily one of his favorites. The only thing I remember pops saying is that the shovel really hurt. Lol 🖖

Seeing this nod to his legendary past, Mick Foley responded with a heartfelt tweet which not only likened his bouts with Vader to Frasier vs. Ali but also stated that ‘The Mastodon’ was the most glaring absence from the WWE Hall of Fame.

Mick Foley and the late Vader have a history that most wrestlers can only dream of. From their infamous clashes in WCW to Vader tearing off Foley’s ear in Germany to the pair challenging for the WWF Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 13. It is undoubtedly a rivalry that belongs in the annals of professional wrestling.
Leon ‘Vader’ White passed away on June 18, 2018, and is considered one of the greatest big men in the history of the industry. Without a doubt, he belongs in any and every wrestling hall of fame going.
