Michin opens up on exploring this particular wrestling duty.
With nearly two decades of experience in the wrestling industry, Michin is arguably one of the most well-respected veterans of the sport. However, despite her years of experience, she is not interested in pursuing a future career as a trainer.
In a recent interview with Jimmy Varsallone, Michin commented on her plans to become a trainer. While open to transferring her knowledge and sharing feedback with the upcoming generation, the former TNA Knockouts Champion does not envision herself as a trainer.
A lot of people are like, ‘You should train people.’ I don’t have the patience for it [laughs]. If they ask, going down to NXT, that really opened my eyes to seeing the talent down there and them wanting to learn from me. To me, I still have the mentality that I’m still ‘lil’ ol’ Mia Yim, who am I?’
For them to come to me and ask me questions like, ‘What do you think about this?’ and be giving them suggestions. I would never open up a school, but if I have somebody come up to me, ‘Hey, can you watch my match? Can you give me feedback?’ Things like that, I’m more than happy to do that.”

Her statement, ‘Who am I?’ can be a little farfetched. Michin aka Mia Yim is well-known all over the globe and is one of the most respected and popular wrestlers of the current era. Her recent match against Chelsea Green at Saturday Night’s Main Event brought an immense amount of spotlight on both the stars.
Despite losing, the former champion was able to impress both the fans and the critics.
