Michelle McCool “Never Asked” The Undertaker For Any Help

The Undertaker Michelle McCool

Michelle McCool has discussed having to ask The Undertaker not to get involved in a backstage situation and says she never asked him for any help in her career.

Michelle McCool was one of the standout stars of the women’s division in WWE in the late 2000s, holding the WWE Women’s Championship and the Divas Title two times apiece.

Since moving away from her full-time in-ring career Michelle McCool has made sporadic appearances in WWE, most recently in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble where she lasted over 20 minutes before being eliminated by former rival and then-IMPACT Knockouts Champion, Mickie James.

Speaking on the Wives Of Wrestling podcast, Michelle McCool named the one star she’d love to work with if she returns to WWE in the future:

“If I were to ever come back, I would love to work with Bianca [Belair] … It’s just crazy, she’s just crazy strong, she’s just crazy talented, but I really had fun with some of the newer girls this past Rumble,” she said. “Liv Morgan, I really enjoyed working with, Zelina, but I think Bianca. Becky would be fun just to talk trash with, but yeah, I think Bianca would be the one.”

McCool also addressed perceptions that surround her that suggest much of her recent recognition by WWE comes as a result of her marriage to The Undertaker. Michelle McCool says she “never asked” her WWE Hall of Fame husband for help and had to stop him from intervening in a backstage situation back in the day:

“I couldn’t care less what people think about me … It’s nice to get some recognition that we did play a part in that … There was one occasion that a guy really popped off for no reason, but it’s because he was dating somebody else, that I had to beg him [The Undertaker] not to step in.”

“I was like, ‘Look, I think I could beat this guy up if I needed to so I don’t even need you,’ but as far as pitching storylines or whatever, I never once, and I made it a point not to do that … It’s nice to get a little recognition that we did pave the road because we fought for everything we had. We had to fight to even get the Divas Title. It is what it is, but every minute counts.”
