New WWE Documentary Coming To Netflix In 2025

WWE’s relationship with Netflix is set to grow beyond Monday Night Raw, as a new docu-series is reportedly in the works for a spring 2025 release.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, the show will take a “new-age vlog” approach, offering fans an exclusive look at WWE’s transition to Netflix, as well as behind-the-scenes moments from Superstars’ personal and professional lives.

Filming has already begun, with footage captured during WWE’s January events at the Intuit Dome.

The series is expected to feature Chelsea Green, the reigning WWE Women’s United States Champion, hinting at a mix of in-ring action and personal storytelling.

With anticipation building, this project could provide fans with a fresh, in-depth look at the new era of WWE on Netflix.

Young Bucks Named 2024 Tag Team of The Year

It’s not just WWE stars taking home the awards.

Today’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter saw the reveal of the 2024 WON End of Year Awards with Cody Rhodes taking home the top prize for Wrestler of the Year.

But it is AEW tag team the Young Bucks who have taken home the title of tag team of the year.

Matt and Nick Jackson beat out Nathan Frazier & Axiom, FTR and Sting and Darby Allin to claim the award for a record setting eight time!

Following the shock news that Triple H would be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, Michelle McCool has now been announced as part of the prestigious class for 2025.

The news first broke via ESPN’s Get Up with Triple H praising McCool as “one of the women that transformed what we do.”

Cody Rhodes continues to make history following an incredible year in 2024.

Gathering over 3385 votes, Rhodes beat out Will Ospreay (2571), Bryan Danielson (938), Mistico (786), Swerve Strickland (744) and Roman Reigns (206) to claim the award for the first time.

After winning the WWE Championship for the first time, Rhodes has continued to make history by winning the Lou Thesz/Ric Flair award for wrestler of the year, something his father never managed.
