WWE Superstar Mia Yim – also known as Reckoning – has sought to clarify her injury status after not having a single match in the company in 2021.
Yim joined the company in 2018, after her second showing in the Mae Young Classic tournament. Competing mainly on NXT live events Mia Yim did compete sporadically on NXT television and even competed on SmackDown in November 2019 as an NXT contingent of Yim, Dakota Kai, Rhea Ripley, and Tegan Nox fell to defeat against Nikki Cross, Carmella, Dana Brooke, and Sasha Banks.
A change in direction for Mia Yim came in late 2020 when she was unveiled as part of the RETRIBUTION group on RAW. Rechristened as Reckoning, Yim joined T-BAR [Dominik Dijakovic], Mace [Dio Maddin], Slapjack [Shane Thorne, and Retaliation [Mercedes Martinez]. No reference was made to the group’s former personas and was met with derision by many sections of the WWE audience. Mustafa Ali was unveiled as the group’s leader but this was to no avail with the group eventually splitting in March 2021.
Mia Yim competed in her last match to date for WWE on the 31st of December 2020 edition of Main Event where she fell to defeat against Nikki Cross. That match came one week after Yim’s only victory as Reckoning against the Scotswoman.
With a nine-month absence from WWE television, many fans have wondered about Mia Yim’s current status but she has now taken to social media to make clear if she is suffering from injury or not:
“I’m not injured.”
I’m not injured.

Yim is still listed as Reckoning on the WWE.com roster page. Mercedes Martinez quickly left the group after their initial arrival on RAW, returning to her more familiar name on NXT before her release from the company. Slapjack appears to be no more with Shane Thorne now part of the SmackDown brand while T-BAR and Mace continue as a tag team on RAW.
