When asked by a fan to join AJ Lee in WWE by coming back there, Mercedes Mone responded in a rather unique way.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Lee made a triumphant return to WWE after 10 years in Chicago. She attacked Becky Lynch to exact revenge for her husband, CM Punk, who was embarrassed by the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion on RAW. Lee’s homecoming sparked several reactions within the wrestling universe, whether it was from wrestlers or fans. It also blew up social media and garnered a huge amount of engagement and views in just 12 hours.
On X (fka Twitter), a user informed AEW star Mercedes Mone of Lee’s return and wanted to see both women display their talents together in the same ring.
Nine-Belts Mone then delivered an interesting response, asking if the star had a championship.
Does she have a title?” Mone wrote.

Mone is the current TBS Champion and successfully defended the title against Alex Windsor last week on Dynamite. The CEO put Windsor in a submission move to further the damage, but Riho came out of nowhere to blindside her.
As a result, the former WWE Superstar will put her TBS Championship on the line against the inaugural AEW Women’s Champion at All Out in Toronto.
WWE Superstar AJ Lee will be on Monday Night RAW
After her successful comeback to the WWE last week on SmackDown, AJ Lee will make her first appearance on RAW in 10 years this week in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as announced by General Manager Adam Pearce.
Monday Night RAW comes to you live tomorrow night from my old stomping grounds – Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the world is still abuzz… everyone saw what went down on Friday and now for the first time in more than a decade, AJ Lee will be live on the flagship with a ton to say, I’m sure she will do just that in Milwaukee,” Adam Pearce said.

It will be interesting to see if Becky Lynch will respond to the vicious attack delivered by Lee last Friday Night in Chicago.
