Mercedes Mone Reacts To Trinity Fatu’s IMPACT Wrestling Debut

Mercedes Mone fka Sasha Banks in NJPW

After Mercedes Mone found success after leaving WWE, she has now tipped her friend Trinity Fatu to do the same.

Fatu, now simply known as Trinity made her debut with IMPACT Wrestling at the April 28th tapings. The star made it clear that she was coming for the Knockouts Title before she was confronted by champion Deonna Purrazzo. The duo was quickly joined by Jordynne Grace who is due to challenge Purrazzo for the gold at Under Siege on May 26th.

Trinity will make her in-ring debut for the promotion at the April 29th tapings when she takes on KiLynn King. IMPACT later confirmed that the match will air on May 4th.

As Trinity had been for her, Mercedes Mone was in attendance as the star made her first post-WWE appearance. The former IWGP Women’s Champion later took to social media to support her friend.

Mercedes Mone and Trinity walked out of WWE back in May 2022 following what was reported as a row over creative. Neither woman ever returned to the company, and Mone headed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling in January.

Mercedes Mone Extends Stay In NJPW

Mercedes Mone lost her IWGP Women’s Title at Stardom All Star Grand Queendom to Mayu Iwatani on April 23rd, but her NJPW adventure isn’t over just yet. It was reported that the star had agreed an extension to her contract, while Mone confirmed that she will be at Resurgence on May 21st.
