Mercedes Mone Lets Loose With An Unrestrained Response To WWE Counterprogramming

Mercedes Mone gets no-holds-barred on WWE.

For the last few months, fans and critics across the globe have witnessed a major surge in World Wrestling Entertainment counter-programming several AEW shows. From Saturday Night Main Event and All In to NXT Heatwave and Forbidden Door, the Stamford-based promotion is now also set to counter All Out 2025 on September 20th with WrestlePalooza.

As the counterprogramming becomes more obvious, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone recently opened up about it and shared her thoughts during her interview with Scott Fishman of TVinsider.

Getting brutally honest about the situation, Mone said,

I don’t watch them. I don’t care about them. I’m “Eight Belts Moné.” I’m a champion of so many different companies. So, the more the merrier. If they want to put on wrestling shows while we have wrestling shows, I’m always going to be better. I’m always better. That’s why I call myself “The CEO.” They can keep on doing whatever they want to do, but AEW is taking over. If you want to watch the best, good wrestling, watch AEW.”

Mone is currently on her way to becoming nine-belt Mone. She is also scheduled to defend her TBS title in a Four-way match.

Mercedes Mone Is Not Fond Of Cousin Snoop Dogg’s Snacks

During her recent appearance on SportBible’s ‘Snack Wars’, Mercedes Mone found herself comparing her cousin Snoop Dogg’s Rap Snacks against the British classic Monster Munch. While Mone liked Monster Munch, she did not find Snoop’s Rap snacks appetising.

We got some rap snacks with Snoop. What kind of flavor is this? Barbeque cheddar. Okay. I don’t know if he would choose that flavor for himself,” Mone speculated. “Monster Munch? With little fingers? [laughs] I’m going to try this one first. These are cute. Pickled onions. Well, it definitely tastes like that.”

After trying Snoop Dogg’s Rap Snacks, Mone said, “This one probably has less calories. But this one [Monster Munch] has more flavor. [The Rap Snacks] really plain.

Snoop, I’m so sorry. I love you. I love you, cuz, but I’m going to have to go with these Monster Munchies,” Mone said,
