Mercedes Moné Did It! “9 Belts Moné” Is Now Official Ahead Of AEW Forbidden Door

Mercedes Moné with her 8 championship belts, in action on AEW Dynamite

Mercedes Moné continues to make history in her post-WWE career. The only woman to win titles in WWE, NJPW, AEW, and CMLL is making her name as a pro wrestling belt collector, and now she has officially declared herself to be 9 Belts Moné.

The CEO made her All Elite Wrestling in-ring debut at Double Or Nothing 2024, dethroning Willow Nightingale of the AEW TBS Championship. The former Sasha Banks of WWE has worked 27 singles matches in the All Elite ring, and only one of those were a loss as she failed to capture the Women’s World Championship from Toni Storm at All In last month.

Mercedes has found significant post-WWE success outside of AEW as well. Before signing, she debuted for NJPW and held the IWGP Women’s Championship for 64 days. The following month in May 2023, Mercedes was set to become the inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s Champion but she was injured during the match, which gave the win to Willow Nightingale. Fast forward to one month after the debut title win at Double Or Nothing, Mercedes captured the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship in a Winner Takes All match. The reign ended 313 days later.

While holding the AEW TBS and NJPW Strong titles, Moné captured the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship. This reign comes with two straps – SWE’s Queen of Southside Championship and RevPro’s British Women’s Championship. Mercedes also carries the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Championship belt. She won the fourth annual competition at Double Or Nothing 2025 this past May, receiving The Owen Hart Cup and commemorative title belt.

The European Wrestling Association booked Moné for a surprise appearance on June 6, where she won a Triple Threat to dethrone Lexa Valo of the EWA Women’s Championship. Just twelve days later, Snoop Dogg’s cousin beat Zeuxis for the CMLL World Women’s Championship at Dynamite Grand Slam: Mexico. The 33-year-old debuted for Poland’s Prime Time Wrestling seven weeks later, at the All About The Moné event, to defeat Diana Strong to become the inaugural PTW Women’s Champion and the inaugural BestYa Women’s Champion, which is a title for Italy’s BestYa Wrestling.

The Boss is currently 454 days into her AEW TBS Championship reign. She has held the RevPro straps for 230 days, the EWA Women’s Championship for 78 days, and the top CMLL women’s title for 66 days. Moné won the PTW and BestYa gold 26 days ago, and now she’s kicking off another title reign.

Mercedes Moné Becomes Moné 9 Belts In The UK

AEW, ROH, NJPW, Stardom, CMLL, and RevPro are currently in the middle of a busy week in the UK. This will lead to the fourth annual AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV on Sunday from The O2 in London, England, where Mercedes Moné will defend the TBS Championship against Alex Windsor, Persephone, and Bozilla in a Fatal 4 Way.

The CEO now holds gold for Discovery Wrestling. Night One of RevPro’s 13th Anniversary Show was held today at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London, featuring a Global Wars theme. The big Winner Takes All match saw Mercedes Moné defend her Undisputed British Women’s Championship against Emersyn Jane, who lost her DW Women’s Championship.

Mercedes Moné will also work Night Two of the RevPro 13th Anniversary Show on Saturday. 9 Belts Moné is set to team with Dani Luna and Kanji to face The Cut Throat Collective’s Alex Windsor, Safire Reed, and Nina Samuels.
