Mercedes Mone could be recruiting some aid in AEW.
Mone has had a hugely successful year since becoming All Elite in March 2024. The CEO is the company’s reigning TBS Champion and holds the NJPW STRONG Women’s and RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Titles.
In 2024, the star briefly had Kamille acting as her bodyguard to help fend off multiple challengers to her gold. However, that partnership came to an abrupt end in November after Kamille was attacked backstage and written off TV.
Now, Mone could be set to recruit more help, as Fightful Select has reported that there has been a “pitched integration” between her and The Renegade Twins, Robyn and Charlette. The report notes that this has long been discussed in the company and all involved are hoping for it to happen.
Mone faced Robyn Renegade in the ring on the March 29th edition of Collision. While she defeated the star in short order, she took time after the match to praise her.
While the two were in the ring, Athena ran in to attack Mone, and Renegade moved her out of harms way and took an Eclipse from the ROH Women’s World Champion, hinting that the alliance between the women could happen sooner rather than later.
