Brock Lesnar‘s shocking WWE return was seemingly acknowledged by Mercedes Mone on social media, which received interesting fan reactions.
After a hard-fought Street Fight, Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena at SummerSlam Night 2 to reclaim the Undisputed WWE Championship in a rematch. This marked the first time The Beast Incarnate was seen on television after last performing in 2023 for the same event.
Brock Lesnar’s year-long absence was due to him being named in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon. Due to this, many fans were upset and had negative reactions about The Beast’s comeback. Another notable name who seemingly reacted to Lesnar’s WWE return was Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks in the Stamford-based promotion.
On X (Twitter), Mercedes Mone shared a photo of AEW World Champion ‘Hangman’ Adam Page looking mad and somewhat disgusted. She followed this up with an Arthur clenched fist meme to express her frustrations. However, she tweaked some details by adding her hand and ring brass instead.
Due to the timing of what’s happening in the wrestling world, many fans think the cryptic post was connected to Brock Lesnar’s return at the end of SummerSlam Night 2.
