John Cena has gone viral for very bizarre reasons in the past. You usually can’t go a day on Twitter without jokes about John Cena’s apparent invisibility, thanks to his “you can’t see me” catchphrase. This, and several other incidents, have led to John Cena becoming no stranger to memes, having been their subject on several occasions.
Most recently, with a video dubbed the ‘Bing Chilling Meme,’ sixteen-time World Champion John Cena once again became the subject of friendly internet jest.
The Meaning Behind Iconic John Cena ‘Bing Chilling’ Meme
In the ‘Bing Chilling Meme’ John Cena is seen sitting in a car, eating ice cream and promoting his movie Fast and Furious 9. He does this while speaking Mandarin to push the film to the Chinese population. During the video, he sings a song in Mandarin while using the ice cream cone as a microphone, to the delight of many.
Popular meme website Know Your Meme translated what John Cena is singing in the video, revealing the true meaning behind the meme-inspiring video.
“Good morning, China.
Now I have ice cream.
I like ice cream very much.
But “Fast and Furious 9″ is better than ice cream.”
Yes, “Bing Chilling” means “ice cream.” At last, we can all have a good night’s sleep.
Fast and Furious 9 came out in 2021 and received a 59% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In the movie, Cena plays the character Jakob Toretto, the brother of the main character Dominic Toretto who Vin Diesel portrays.
Recently, John Cena has been discussed as one of the potential names to make a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 39. Several other famous names are rumoured for the event, including The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, meaning that it could be one of the biggest WWE shows of all time.
If Cena were to make an in-ring appearance at WrestleMania 39, it would be his first match since September of 2021, where he teamed with The Mysterios to defeat The Bloodline as a special treat for live fans after an airing of Friday Night Smackdown.
While the surprise of ice cream is always welcome, an appearance from John Cena at WrestleMania 39 may be an even more welcome surprise for WWE fans.
