House of Black’s open challenge at AEW Double or Nothing was answered by Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Daddy Ass.
While the action in the ring was fast and furious, it was Caster’s rap during his entrance that caught fans’ attention. After questioning how Malakai Black is “allowed to get away with blackface,” Caster turned his attention to Buddy Matthews.
Max Caster And The Acclaimed Come Up Short
Despite being cheered to the rafters by the Las Vegas crowd, The Acclaimed were unsuccessful in their bid to win the World Trios Titles.
Anthony Bowens was isolated for much of the match but eventually made the hot tag to Billy Gunn. The veteran ran wild hitting slams, and Fame Asser’s in all directions before turning into a Black Mass from Malakai Black.
While Caster, Bowens, and Daddy Ass were unable to pick up the win, Rhea Ripley had a much better time of it 24 hours ago. At Night of Champions, Ripley made the latest defence of her SmackDown Women’s Title, defeating Natalya in a little over a minute to the delight of Dominik.
