“Matter Of Time” Until Bray Wyatt Returns To WWE

Bray Wyatt as The Fiend WWE

A new report has claimed that it’s only a matter of time until Bray Wyatt returns to WWE as speculation over his future continues to gather pace.

Bray Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31st 2021, and within weeks he was already being linked with a return. This speculation has continued over the last 12 months, hitting an all-time high when Vince McMahon retired from his post at the top of WWE.

It had been reported following Wyatt’s release that he didn’t always get on with the now former Chairman. However, more than a year on from his departure, Wyatt is yet to return to the company.

In recent days WWE have begun dropping numerous teases around a “white rabbit.”

On the September 16th episode of SmackDown where during a commercial break the lights in the arena were turned off and “White Rabbit” by psychedelic rock band Jefferson Airplane was played in the arena.

On the following episode of Monday Night Raw, a mysterious QR code was spotted backstage with the message “COME WITH ME.”

The QR code led to a cryptic video that continued the White Rabbit theme, showing a rabbit with the words “Feed your head,” which is a line from the Jefferson Airplane song. When the video is played, the rabbit can be seen playing a game of Hangman that asks for the answer to the question “WHO KILLED THE WORLD?” The answer was revealed to be “YOU DID.”

A new report from Fightful Select has now claimed that the subject of the teases is being kept a closely guarded secret, although it is expected that they are related to Bray Wyatt. Furthermore, there has been contact between WWE and their former World Champion, with numerous figures within the company believing that it’s only a “matter of time” until he returns.

The report also appeared to pour cold water on suggestions that the teases are linked to former NXT Champion Karrion Kross who made his own return to the company two months ago.

In closing a “top star” noted that paying off a tease such as this is “integral in setting the tone for shows moving forward.”
