The Raw after WrestleMania has become known for returns and debuts down the years, and now Matt Riddle has made his own comeback on the show.
The Miz came to the ring and asked fans if they had enjoyed WrestleMania. The star then lashed out, commenting that when WWE said that the event would be full of surprises, they all seemed to be for him. He was attacked by Snoop Dogg, confronted by Shane McMahon, and beaten by Pat McAfee.
Following the unfortunate rundown, Miz said there would be no more surprises. So naturally, there was one more come.
At this, Matt Riddle’s music hit and he made his way to the ring. Just as he went to address fans he was attacked from behind, but Riddle fought back and laid out Miz to stand tall.
Following the segment, it was announced that Riddle will take on Miz on the April 10th episode of the show.

How Long Had Matt Riddle Been Out?
Matt Riddle had been absent from WWE television since December 5th. On that occasion, Riddle was attacked and taken out of action by Solo Sikoa. However, it was reported in the days after the incident that he had been suspended by WWE for failing a second drugs test. While there has been no confirmation from the star or WWE over the rumoured failed tests or a suspension, a former girlfriend claimed that the star had been to rehab.
